AUSTRAC Tranche 2 · obligations live since 1 Jul 2026
AUSTRAC now requires an AML/CTF program.
We built one — free to start.
Real estate agents, lawyers, accountants, conveyancers and dealers in precious metals all became regulated entities this year. eAML automates AUSTRAC's own Tranche 2 guideline end to end — case management that mirrors AUSTRAC's process stage by stage, live today across all five industries. It's also the most affordable path to compliance in the market.
How it works
Case management built stage-for-stage from AUSTRAC's own guideline
Not a generic workflow with AUSTRAC's name attached to it — every stage below mirrors AUSTRAC's own program starter kits, in the order a compliance officer actually works a file.
Open a case
One case per transaction or client relationship — every party tracked as a first-class record, not a spreadsheet row.
Verify identity & business
Sight a photo ID or upload an ASIC extract — parsed and cross-checked automatically, officer by officer.
Trace beneficial ownership
Multi-layer ownership computed automatically, the same way AUSTRAC's own guidance works the maths.
Screen for risk
Sanctions, PEP and adverse-media screening against a rule engine encoding AUSTRAC's actual obligations.
Tier & approve
A compliance officer sets the risk tier; a senior officer signs off before the case can close.
Retain for 7 years
Every check, document and override timestamped to the regulator's own retention standard, automatically.
What's offered
Not a roadmap — a working platform
Case & party management
Every buyer, seller, director and beneficial owner tracked as a first-class record across the life of the case.
KYC/KYB, incl. ASIC verification
Upload a Current Company Extract and every director and secretary is parsed straight off the document.
Beneficial ownership tracing
Multi-layer ownership computed automatically — 50% × 60% resolves to a 30% effective stake the same way AUSTRAC's own worked example does the maths.
Sanctions, PEP & adverse media
Screening wired through a rule engine that encodes AUSTRAC's obligations as configurable, versioned rules.
Risk tiering & senior approval
A dedicated, role-gated approval step — only a senior manager login can sign a case off.
CRM integration
A provider-neutral connector keeps compliance cases in sync with your own system of record.
Built for all five
Every Tranche 2 designated service, one engine
Each runs on its own AUSTRAC-sourced risk factors and rules, verified end to end.
Real estate
Vendor and buyer due diligence on every property transaction, from contract to settlement.
Accounting
Client onboarding and ongoing due diligence for accounting services that trigger a designated service.
Legal profession
Trust, company and property work — the practice areas AUSTRAC's reform actually targets.
Conveyancing
Settlement-side CDD, run independently from — and alongside — the agent's own case.
Jewellers
Threshold-triggered CDD that switches on the moment a cash sale crosses AUSTRAC's reporting line.

Not ready to run it yourself?
Our AML specialists run the case. You approve it.
A meaningful share of small businesses facing this reform aren't shopping for software — they want the problem to disappear. Managed Compliance puts a dedicated AML specialist on every case: CDD, screening, document review and SMR drafting, handled end to end on the same system. Your AML Officer and Senior Officer don't do the casework — they review a completed, evidence-backed file and approve it.
Pay-per-case
For occasional transactions
4 cases, monthly
For busier practices
Both undercut the market's existing $650–$2,500/month managed-compliance rate by 46% or more.

Common questions
Before you get started
Is eAML actually free, or is that a trial?
Compliance Starter is $30/month flat, unlimited cases, no trial cap and no onboarding fee, for as long as you use it. The only per-use charges are the identity ($6) and company ($0 markup) checks you're legally required to run, billed to the client being screened.
What if I already have a paper-based process?
AUSTRAC explicitly permits a manual, paper-based AML/CTF program — eAML doesn't replace that legal option, it just removes the reason to keep doing it by hand: the same case management, CDD and screening, for a lower cost than the paper trail takes in your own time.
Which industries does this actually cover?
Real estate, accounting, legal profession, conveyancing and jewellers — all five Tranche 2 domains, each with its own AUSTRAC-sourced risk factors and compliance-form catalogue, live today.
